While being a critic may be easy, I think it is difficult to be a good critic. I do believe a good critic can produce value. Good critics can challenge us to think more deeply, expand on our ideas, or even change our minds.

While I agree with you on the power of stories, they can also be dangerous because they can teach an exception to a general rule and may be misleading.
