Sex, Lies and Chatbots

You may have seen the movie HER. A 2013 American romantic science-fiction drama film written, directed, and produced by Spike Jonze. It marks Jonze’s solo screenwriting debut.

Jonze conceived the idea in the early 2000s after reading an article about a website that allowed for instant messaging with an artificial intelligence program. Yeah that long ago!

The film received numerous awards and nominations, primarily for Jonze’s screenplay.
Theodore, the main character, falls in love 💘 with the Operating System of his computer. Kinda Siri or Alexa ‘avant la lettre’…

You must see the movie to believe this… But back in 2018, 5 years later, we can say that this is true. People want to have sex with chatbots! More often than you think….

With chatbotfordummies we forsee our chatbots to be sexual harassment proof 😇. So if people start harassing the bot, the bot is trained to answer… 💪

And boy they harass the bot: 48 people already wanted to have seks with our chatbot 😳

And 31 people thought our chatbot was gay , allmighty! Our chatbot is gender free!

What we learn from this is, is that people apparently think they have a very private relationship with a chatbot. And feel like they are in a 1 2 1 conversation, like in the movie HER.

Use this carefully, but you can understand the power of this already. Once they start loving your chatbot, a new array of possibilities opens for marketeers.

If you also want a chatbot for your business, service or product, reach out to our chatbot here. And handle 🤖 him? her?it? with ❤️, much ❤️❤️!
