Well, I would not choose the word “criticize”. I would use the word “challenge”, as in challenging a hypothesis. It is to be proven or disproven.

Then again, we can go through the exact same experience and perceive it differently. Thus, I would not make it a right verses wrong, I would just accept that you experience it differently.
