The Chef de Lishus Series (Recipe 2): Bryce’s Delicious and Healthy Protein Shakes
Chef de Lishus is a member of Da Alliance of superheroes chronicled at Instagram @dinfluenceher . He/She is a Superchef who’s irresistible food smells and tastes so good all are compelled to stop whatever they are doing, immediately, to partake in Chef de’s offerings. Chef de’s weapons are the wave of a hand to spread aromas and a spatula and spoon used to sling delectable bites at bullies and villains to divert them from evil doings while waiting for dDominator and other Da superheroes to confront them. When not battling evil, Chef de modestly strives to feed the homeless, hungry strangers, and family and friends.
Chef de Lishus superpowers emanate from the magic chef hat. Whoever wears that magic hat possesses culinary skills so acute they become mind altering to diners. We plan to share that magic hat with all members of the dD Cosplay Club to introduce old family recipes and more chefs who just happen to be persons with disabilities.
Recipe 2: Bryce’s delicious and healthy protein shakes flavored with banana, berries, peanut butter, and spinach.
Bryce dons the Chef de Lishus hat to show us how he makes his famous protein shakes. Bryce learned this recipe from his mom and mastered it by making shakes often and independently. Bryce sometimes makes shakes for breakfast and at other times for a tasty, healthy afternoon snack. He loves to make enough for three so that he can treat his mom and dad to a shake too.

Chef de Lishus Protein Shake Recipe (enough for 3 shakes but if more desired ratio up)
Ingredients: 1/2 banana (sliced, fresh or frozen), 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen), 3 cups milk (we use 1% milk but up to you), 1 scoop Designer Whey (protein), 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (health supplement), 2 heaping teaspoons PB2 Powered Peanut Butter (substitute actual peanut butter), 1 heaping teaspoon flaxseed meal, a generous handful of fresh spinach
Preparation (10 minutes)
Take out your shake tumblers and blender. Ready all your ingredients around the blender for quick work.
- Add all ingredients to the blender
- Blend on high until well blended
- Serve instantly into shake tumbler or drink glasses and make sure to ration out to fill all equally.
- Serve with a metal straw or drink right from the tumbler/glass
- Enjoy!
