A Little Disney Magic In Lynchburg

Since she was a child, college student Haley Burgess had desperate dreams of becoming a Disney princess. Though this sounds like an unachievable task, Burgess was able to make her fantasy a reality when her and a group of friends created a business in which they attend birthday parties and events dressed as Disney princesses. The business, called Royal Princess Virginia, recently has been thriving in the greater Lynchburg area, as it continues to bring a little Disney magic to children with similar dreams as Burgess.

Broadway Stars Hold Audition For Theater Class In Lynchburg

Veterans to the stage, Terrence Mann;the original Javert in “Les Miserables” and Beast in “Beauty and the Beast,” and Charlotte d’Amboise; who once played Cassie in “A Chorus Line” are seeking talent in Lynchburg as they are holding auditions Monday, Febuary 1 for their summer musical theater intensive class. Not only will they be holding auditions but, also a master class that will take place on Sunday, January 31. The talented pair will host the class and auditions at Seven Hills Dance Studio and are excited to see what Lynchburg has to bring to the table talent-wise.

Man Wins 1 Million Dollar Lottery Ticket In Virginia

You could say that auto glass technician, Randy Hall, made the right decision when he puchased the “20X the Money”ticket from Speedway at 2501 Lakeside Drive in Lynchburg. The Madison Heights resident had the odds in his favor when he won the million dollar ticket with a 1 in 1,305,600 chance. The media says that Hall plans to use his prize to build a nest egg, and to pay off his bills.
