You kind of lost me here. Entrepreneurship is a tool, a process. It’s not an unmitigated force for good. Are Three-Card Monte dealers entrepreneurs? You bet they are — moreso than people spending other people’s money. Are entrepreneurs all “solving new problems?” Does that mean the old couple taking a loan to open a dry cleaning place aren’t entrepreneurs? I worry the startup culture has crawled up its own PR. Remember that tools are tools and what matters is how you use them, and for what.
