Leslie, if that were the intent of the article, then the title should have been just a wee bit different. With all the propaganda out there against Hillary, if we only have time to read a headline or title, it can give the wrong impression. I left the Bernie camp a couple of months ago when the level of vitriol toward Hillary rose with the spread of lies and propaganda — red flags were raised and I just couldn’t be a part of that. Having been around for a while, I knew what those flags meant: If they’re going to tell lies, ones I know to be false, then yet again, the ‘woman’ is being scapegoated. The nastiness was most definitely not initially coming from the Hillary Campaign — the Bernie people unquestionably started something really ugly — and it will probably be part if his undoing. I suspect they were infiltrated by Repub operatives and their propaganda. You cannot malign someone’s integrity, slander them, and expect no reaction in return — especially when they are innocent of your accusations. That said, I’m a 51 year old woman who’s been a keen politico for 30 years (a Eurostyle democratic socialist)— and also experienced my share of sexism, like most women. I really hate seeing members of the Democratic party treat each other this way. But no matter whom we choose as our favorite candidate, we do not deserve what this woman is getting — there are a lot of angry men (egged-on by social media) out there feeling very powerless and they just want to lash out. They’re pathetic boy-men who have no idea of what they’re talking about. I guarantee, the majority of them are Libertarian or Repub. But remember — every slanderous headline or meme creates an effect — and we should all be examples of higher ideals — becoming your real enemy does nothing but bring failure. I’m now a Hillary supporter because the lies led me to really get to the bottom of things — but you won’t see me maligning Bernie Sanders or any of his supporters who behave like decent human beings. We all want pretty much the same things. And these boy-men? Well they see the change coming and they’re scared to death.
That was exactly my point Rick!
