People do vandalize parked cars when they are angry enough — look at riots in St. Louis, or in a couple cities after Trump’s election. Heck — look at riots, vandalism & looting that sometimes happens after a town’s sports team loses (or wins!).

We’re on the same page about the effects of self-driving cars on unemployment — It could be dramatic and could easily make former drivers & auto workers angry.

All I’m saying is that anger could easily bubble over into vandalism against the most glaring and easily-accessible symbol of job-stealing technology, self-driving cars. They will be an easy & attractive target if we don’t get our social safety net in order before they arrive.
