Memoir

Memories are good. Celebrate them.

Now that you are not here and gone forever,

I feel lost .

I am angry,

I am depressed ,

And I don’t know what not.

Time and again,

I try ,

And I try ,

Not to be sad about you,

But somehow,

I sink into the void you left.

Now that you are not here and gone forever,

Time and again,

I wish you could be here,

Right here,

Like the olden days,

Backing me up,

In everything I do,

Protecting me and standing like a wall,

Letting me know that you are right there,

Watching my back ,

To make things things right,

If at all,

Things go wrong for me.

Now that you are not here and gone forever,

Somehow,

I braved my way to the memory lanes,

And,

I found you in everything ,

That you were,

The Fond memories,

Of, how you raised me,

From your little toddler ,

who took your challenge,

to count the stars of the sky,

To the man of self belief I am today.

And suddenly,

I am not sad anymore.

I am happy that you were.

Now that you are not here and gone forever,

your words are my guiding force,

To the doors of tomorrow.

If life is real,

I promise I am going to make people smile,

Specially,

When everyone else think of making them cry…

And I know for sure,

You will be proud of me once again,

And watch me from the sky.

Now that you are not here and gone forever,

I Miss you dad, terribly. And I Love you.
