JK_Seattle, your comment reminds me of people asking what a raped woman was wearing as if it were her clothing that made the rapist act badly. Your comment makes me think you are one of those people who does not have the courage to bear witness to brutal actions without placing some of the responsibility for it on the victim. Maybe blaming the victim makes you feel safer, helps you believe you are in control of how others behave around you. As the old saying goes, ignorance is bliss… except it isn’t. Ignorance can be dangerous and it delays progress.
