Mathematics without history is soulless
Junaid Mubeen

This was so intriguing, I almost had chills. I’m embarking on my next career adventure (been a high school chemistry/physics teacher for 10+ years) in curriculum design. One of the areas that I think will facilitate learning in science lies within the math curriculum. It feels as though there is too much “here’s the algorithm to solve the problem, now solve these problems the same way.” Common core was intended to address the disconnect between the “how” and the “why,” but something seems to have gone amiss. I look forward to reading more of your work…you’re definitely on to something!
