Thank you, my husband of 26 years was a Renaissance man, a real man, a man who never treated me or women with disrespect. He always said, you are much smarter than I. Don’t trust men, and unfortunately I don’t. I see into their souls long before they approach or open their mouth.
As far as profanity, which encompases many forms I won’t mention he didn’t go there in the locker room as a 7th Degree Black Belt, as an All American Pro Quarterback who broke his hand in college, or as a brilliant actor or theatre director, or as a wonderful Shakespearean actor. No, he idolized women for their grace, their strength and for their unconditional love in the face of adversity. Again thank you. He is no longer with us on this plane of existence but he would have said some of the same things you did, this is why young men sought his council. Deborah Brooks
