Curled like a comma.

In the pause, its time to sleep,

draw breath and exhale.

Haiku is a Japanese poem of 17 syllables, in lines of 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and 5 syllables.

Haiku often invokes images of the natural world.

When written in English Haiku poetry follow the same format.
