Memory of a Chocolate Bar

I still remember the dark chocolate bar with almond and orange pieces inside in the shape of a perfect square divided into sixteen small squares. A former colleague brought it to work one evening and shared it with everyone in the teachers’ room. I admit that I tore off a big part of it. I love dark chocolate (the darker, the better). For a long time before that, I had thought about buying a bar for myself but I never got to. I thought about that chocolate bar, focusing on tasting it soon. When I saw my former colleague take out the same exact brand and type of chocolate bar that I had envisioned for a while, bonding with it in my mouth and smiling a temporary smile, I felt happy in that short moment. It actually didn’t taste as good as the plain bars but I still treasure that moment between me and pieces of chocolate with almond and orange.
