Talking To Myself About Buddha Quotes — As Usual

“Just as a mother would protect her only child with her life, even so let one cultivate a boundless love towards all beings”.

It’s noble to attempt to love everyone as a mother would love her child. It’s more realistic to regard everyone with praise, honor, respect, encouragement. It’s enough to show everyone goodwill.

However, showing passionate love for the trees, rocks, sand, mountains, grass, etc. is absolutely something I wish all of us felt.

It made my day when I saw a friend carry a small log last night. It was wonderful. I think it would be cool it more people cherished a rock, leaves, flowers, etc.; show them more admiration.

To be honest, I sometimes cherish the trees, water, soil more than people because they always give me a good feeling. A smile is pasted on my face after any exploration in the forest.

“All experiences are preceded by mind, having mind as their master, created by mind.”

You control your body. Your control what your hands do, which direction your feet take, where you position your body. How you position yourself affects the world in some way. When you are in the presence of anyone, be careful with yourself. Anything that happens to you is because of your mind, what you will your body to do. Feelings are more complicated. Try not to burden yourself with sadness when you have made a social mistake (I often do something I regret). What you have done has come and gone; just carry on. Do something good in order to erase your social mishap.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
