Thank you for giving me a different image of growing up with alcoholic parents. I love that your mother had a special interest in cones. I can imagine all of the cones at your place now. It was good that you developed independence early in life due to your parents having worked full-time and traveling for months at a time. Growing up, my imagination was a close friend of mine; my imagination fueled my walks and motivated me to live day by day; Books and 90’s TV shows accompanied me wherever I went. I am also confused as how to carry myself in social situations; the best I can do is listen when I sit with two or more people but this is good enough. Thank you for opening up about what your family life was like.
