Tired of Men Treating Me Like Nobody

I do not want to be with a man who does not speak to me philosophically about different topics. I do not want to be with a man who only says sexual things to me. I do not want to be with a man who mostly only wants to watch TV with me. I do not want to be with a man who only sends me emoticons or one-word or one-sentence answers. I do not want to be with a man who does not see me as his intellectual equal. I cannot be with a man who expects me to support his goals and dreams but does not expect to support my dreams and goals. I cannot be with a man who does not buy me small gifts or sends me texts every day to let me know that he is thinking of me. I cannot be with a man who does not let me pursue my hobbies, or allow me to have a lot of my time to myself. I cannot be with a man who does not keep me company, who gives me the sense that I am alone, though, I am supposedly in a relationship with someone. I cannot be with a man who makes too many tasteless jokes. I cannot be with a man who does not encourage me to have a mind of my own. I cannot be with a man who strictly sticks to gender roles; he needs to learn how to be flexible. I cannot be with a man who is with me because he sees me as a potential maid. I cannot be with a man who is too busy to be with me, that he needs to work, work, work. I cannot be with a man who does not like to walk. I cannot be with a man who has no interest in other cultures and traveling. I cannot be with a man who does not give me much independence and privacy. I cannot be with a man who expects me to obey him (he should not expect this at all from me). I cannot be with a man who doesn’t compliment me, who doesn’t show his appreciation, who doesn’t show me any gratitude. I cannot be with a man who doesn’t know many of my favorite things. I cannot be with a man who hardly knows me. I cannot be with a man who does make me the center of his life. I cannot be with a man who would criticize me for not having a baby or for not doing housework every day. I cannot be with a man who doesn’t let me take a break. I cannot be with a man who doesn’t take me out to eat.
