Smoking ban or no, public housing has been mostly failing for a century
Nina Renata Aron

When I was growing up, I went to school with the majority of my classmates living in low-income housing projects. I am very thankful for the background information on public housing in your article. I have always been interested in learning more about the urban poor and have felt inspired to help them. Background history of how public housing has come about and of individuals who live in it is essential in being able to reach understanding as to how to serve them better. I hope low-income housing improves; I certainly hope that low-income housing residents are treated better.
