Finding Balance
Most people will agree that many structures and concepts do not benefit them in life, while others will believe the reverse because they profit from the same systems and ideas that the latter opposes. Let me begin by emphasizing that balance is a subjective concept. What persona A thinks as justification may not correspond with person B’s viewpoint. That is an exterior balance play with nothing to do with the interior aspect.
On the inside, our thoughts play a critical role in our general well-being as people, leading up to finding balance. The mind is the initial battleground where our bodies will eventually record an all-around healthiness vis a vis the overall balance we can achieve in our entire body. In this context, peace is the calm in the chaos. It is one of the reasons monks withdraw to mountains deep in the jungles, far away from contemporary communities, since they find the minutiae of daily life uncomfortable and devoid of tranquillity.
Many individuals seeking absolute tranquility perceive disorder in the people around them and how our society is constructed to force us to tolerate and coexist with those who may not supply the serenity required for our minds to be balanced. For example, in a cooperative world, executives provide their workers a period of relaxation or vacation in between work periods to be more productive when they return. However, the stress incurred from working all those hours might harm the mind, resulting in inefficiency. As a result, it is a proven truth that relaxing is just as crucial as working. To clarify my thesis, I believe everything has an opposing concept or viewpoint that balances everything else. Satan and Jesus Christ, Male, and Female, Love and Hate, Wealth and Poverty, Milk and Chocolate, are all examples.
Whether or not something tips the balance, these two activities will always exist in our everyday lives as a result of the way life is created to provide us with options. Because life does not always work in our favor, there are many ways in which balance might be shifted. For some, chaos is soothing, while for others, it is a source of anxiety; for others, breaking things is a way to let go of heavy emotions, but for others, it is chaotic. We, humans, tend to get caught up in the process of striking a balance between these two entities. Adulthood, marriage, careers, relationships, and other aspects of life can become imbalanced at any time according to how our thoughts react to the current reality. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that it’s perfectly normal for us humans to have a tipped scale in the balance of some aspects of our lives and that it is an inevitable part of living.
