A Letter To Sheryl Sandberg

Your letter caught my eye because of my interest in the topic of grief, and I’m glad I stopped to read it.

Such a very beautiful tribute to your husband and your grief journey. I have tears in my eyes writing this. You eloquently communicated your truths about the experience of mourning in ways others will be able to understand and hang on to. I found the picture of your husband and daughter to so striking and moving — a bittersweet capturing of a special moment, a loving father and daughter relationship.

Thank you for writing such a wise and caring letter — not just for Sheryl, but for all who mourn, and for all of us who need the reminder to embrace loved ones and enjoy the gift of their living presence.

All the best to you and your daughter.
