Welcome to "D.I.S.cussions" (yes, my initials) where I hope you'll find my words and thoughts to be informative, inspiring, supportive, or helpful.

For 25 years, I've been a crisis education coach, advisor, and advocate, providing individualized and comprehensive services to parents raising neurodiverse children, teens, and young adults focusing on navigating school and the special education arena. My expertise includes autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning differences, and mental health issues.

Additionally, I've been in the work/life integration arena for several decades, both as Founder/CEO of a consulting firm and as a solo consultant, focusing on helping companies retain and support working parents, particularly mothers, via caregiver benefits, flexible work options, and other innovative and supportive workplace programs.

Through a multi-faceted and nonlinear professional path, my work has also included nonprofit consulting, speaking at national conferences and parent groups, participating on panel discussions and webinars, writing, and being a media resource and podcast guest.
