Thank you for showing me it’s okay to be human. I want to be like you one day. Thank you for showing me it’s okay to feel emotions and to sometimes get carried away. To be cautious. To be an asshole. To be a jokester. To be beautiful. To be a lover. To be an artist. To be awkward. To be a writer. To not have a damn care in the world. To be sad. To be happy. To see the beauty that this world does have to offer, even in the middle of a storm. To live. I’m grateful for so much and yet I take everything for granted at so many times. I’ve given up on all these things at so many points in my life and I just need to remember why I’m here. I want to be like you all. I thank God for people like you all, whether you may be living, dead, or virtual. I’m so glad you all exist and have made an impact on my life. You beautiful, human beings.

Lastly:

To the one that hugged me in my dreams,

Thank you for being that little spark of hope I have that love may find me and will want to hold me like you did. I don’t know if I’ll ever meet you but at least I got to meet you in my dreams.
