I have come to learn that BOTH of my natural grandmothers suffered the same as you describe — and BOTH of my parents too, as adoptees -

I’ve come to believe that the pro-life contingent is only pro-birth. Once you are born, all bets are off about what you have to do to survive. They also probably support the idea of separating immigrating mothers and children though . . .
