June 2016 Review

Like last month, this one will be a little late… but here it goes.

Where did I go?
Munakata, Fukuoka (June 4–5), Yukuhashi, Fukuoka (June 5), Sasaguri, Fukuoka (June 26).

What adventures did I have?
Shiohigari (Clam digging) at Yukuhashi with Nami’s family, various shrine meguri in Fukuoka city, Fukuoka Tower, Sasaguri 88 Henro: Part 2.

How many movies did I watch?
As of noon on June 30, I have seen 13 movies in the last month bringing the total up to 1714 movies. Same number up as the previous month.

What shows did I watch?
Chuck: Season 1–3 (rewatching with Nami), Devious Maids: Season 4, Game of Thrones: Season 6, Mistresses: Season 4, Orange is the New Black: Season 4, Wayward Pines: Season 2.

What did I do at my job?
Father’s Day Picnic (on a Sunday), June birthday party (making curry story), school open house to prospective parents.

How many blog entries did I write?
One, May’s review.

How many geocaches did I find?
1 geocache near Najima Shrine.

How many goshuin seals did I recieve?
1 from a temple in Sasaguri.

What did I do at home?
Programmed a lot for a title tentatively called Trilucent, played Miitomo, studied a lot of kanji on Memrise.

What did I eat at restaurants?
Yakitori restuarant in Munakata with Nami’s family(6/4), Teriyaki burger at Thompson’s burgers in Konoha Mall (6/9),Noodles and parfait from Be’tu Ballare with Nami (6/12), Curry at Coco Ichibanya (6/18), Cafe Gasto party with Nami (6/18), Katsudon at an Udon restaurant with the other foreign teachers (6/19), Course meal at Sweet Basil in Konoha Mall with Nami for our anniversary (6/22), Curry and nan at Abashi Indian restaurant next to Fukuoka tower (6/25).

How far along is the post-it blog?
169 post-its, 30 up from last month, 15 are mine, 15 are Nami’s.

What does June’s share of the coin project add up to?
June had 31 days and started at 153 yen a day on the first and ended with 182 yen in coins.
