I didn’t completely ignore the sexism of her comment, I pointed out that it was actually supposed to be sexist because it was an exercise of irony. It was a rather clever reflection of the exact mode of sexism that she wrote her article about.

Also, I think given the tenuousness of the Clinton e-mail “scandal”, weighed against literally decades of Clinton’s publicly supported civil service, further contrasted against the bufoonery, moral abhorrence and complete lack of experience of her competition — no, I do not think it takes any leap of logic whatsoever to come to the conclusion that America is currently unable to wrap its collective consciousness around the idea that a woman can be president, just as Sarah Lerner claims.
