But the systems need to be tested both in real life situations and in simulations, in order to handle a wide range of aviation solutions and to withstand cyberattacks.

For the autonomous technologies, there are people who are open to it and there are those who are against it. But sooner or later, the aircraft industry will certainly be pushing people to trust new systems, and the software pilots may be the key to having any airline service to smaller destinations.
