How It Feels To Lose Both Parents While They Are Still Alive
Kel Campbell

Thank you for sharing. I realise it takes a lot of courage.

I myself experienced parental estrangement for a brief period a few years back. This was at a time when I expected everyone in my family to be at their happiest due to the arrival of my newly born son. Yet the refusal on my parents part to accept certain rights that my wife and I had as new parents turned into a six month long communication freeze. It was more of a shock than a disappointment to me.

I think a lot of us are going through these generational battles and I believe it is tied to rapid cultural changes taking place in our generation that people from previous generations are just unable to comprehend.
