How to improve your writing skills:

Hey!

  1. Who are you writing for?
  2. Academics, fiction, children, adults
  3. More detail:
  4. What kind of academia, what kind of fiction, what kind of children, adults etc
  5. Read some best-sellers in DIFFERENT FORMATS across your target market
  6. Blog articles, ebooks, books, slideshare’s
  7. See which one resonates with you the most and which comes naturally to you
  8. Start there
  9. Practice. Daily. Start small. Start big you’ll burn out fast :)

As a general rule. Write the way that people talk is useful. See Malcolm Gladwell as a pre-eminent example of this.

A little like I am now (I hope).

Bullet points. Formatting. Emboldening also v.useful :)

Good luck!
