Job Interviews: What qualities it takes to crack the interview in big companies like Google and Apple:

Assuming that all things are equal and you can demonstrate the following:
- Understand the company/role: you know their values, their broad history, operating markets, company plans for the future, who heads up your department, recent interesting/relevant news
- Are technically astute: data structure, algorithms, solving code under pressure, solving questions under pressure
- Know yourself: can provide examples of ‘a time when you displayed…’ Communication, Leadership, Teamwork, Problem Solving etc
And IF possible:
- Know your interviewer and what they work on.
Do all this then..you’re already in a good place :)
So now what you’re actually looking for is that:
Well. Then it’s in god hands.
Buuuuut it wouldn’t hurt to:
- Smile more
- Practice talking to yourself in the mirror — study your expressions
- Make use of staccato and legato in your vocal range
- Open body language

- Smell good, look good
