They have their own internal standardised systems that they use as an internal vetting tool.

Whilst in theory it seems more simple for them to work from a CV. Imagine receiving 300 CV’s for one position. With 100 different formats.

It would take a long time for them to wade through this. So rather than them do that hard work — they ask you do it instead!
