Why it’s so hard to get an interview call at Palantir Technologies:

I would say although it SEEMS like incompetency/tardiness on the part of Palantir I can assure you it’s not.

Palantir currently:

  • They wouldn’t be Silicon Valley’s hottest property by being mediocre
  • They work with the CIA, the NSA and top Corporate companies
  • Privately they’ve raised closed to $1 billion
  • They are growing FAST

What does this mean for applicants in purgatory?

  • Expect leakage — it may well be more people are applying to them than they need/handle/care for at the moment
  • They hire V.V Smart people

What does this mean for you specifically

  • Well if you HAVEN’T worked for an ‘Amazon’ or ‘Google-esque’ equivalent you simply not cut the mustard on paper — even if you do in person
  • So for whatever reason — atm you are NOT good enough whether it’s a resume/experience/skills/other problem

Still determined to work for them?

  • Get better at what you do
  • Get your application reviewed
  • Get your process of approaching recruiters reviewed

And try again :)

Good luck!
