Deepikah is an Indian interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto, Canada; a M.F.A. candidate at the IAMD program, and an OGS recipient at OCAD University. Trained in Communication design from New Delhi, she uses painting and installation art to express issues related to gender, self-worth, and perception. Her project “Trial Room” tackles body dysmorphia and social conditioning and was exhibited at Gender Bender 2018 (Bangalore) and then at The Irregulars Art Fair in 2019 (New Delhi). Her online exhibit, “SarvSatvikRashtra- Atmanirbhar2Q48'' launched in January 2021 as a part of a virtual residency - Fissure by Pollinator. She curated a gender journal project for the Sandbox collective called Rest Your Thought Here and has been working on a Creating Heroines grant by the British Council. She recently curated and exhibited at the show called "Too Big To Fail" at Open Gallery in Toronto.
