Manage events from your mailbox

Deepin Mail has recently released the highly-demanded event management feature. It removes the “stumbling blocks” that affect the work efficiency, such as the schedules on multi-terminal are asynchronous, and events cannot be classified, and effectively solves the problems in event management, moving forward a big step in function and UX improvements.
01 Event sync between the email client and server
Have you ever had this kind of trouble? In your daily work, you may have to work on both mobile phones and computers, and frequently switch between them, but the schedules on them are not synced, you should manage them separately.
Deepin Mail has solved the event synchronization problem among webmails from various mailbox service providers. New or modified events can be synced across devices, and remind you in time, making your work on multiple devices efficiently and easily.
02 Multiple calendar views
The calendar in Deepin Mail has three views: month, week, and day, to display the calendar and events. In each view, you can create events in several ways:
- Click “+” in the menu bar;
- Double-click a date/time grid;
- Right-click and select “New event”;
- Drag and drop in the calendar to select date/time grids.
03 Diversified event recurrence rules
You may have regular departmental meetings every week. How to avoid creating events every time?
Deepin Mail supports managing recurring events. By setting a recurrence rule once, the event will be displayed at a specified time to notify you in advance. You can customize recurrence rules by day/week/month/year, which not only meets your daily needs but also is compatible with recurring schedules from other calendars.
04 Convenient event search
If you have busy schedules, you may have to look up events in the calendar in a great bustle. With the event search function, you can find, view and manage events as easily as searching for emails.
05 Local calendar management and calendar separation by email accounts
For mailboxes that do not support event synchronization and users who want to manage events locally, users can create different folders under the “local calendar” (local folder) to manage events by category.
Events under different email accounts are separated, so you will not mix work schedules with personal schedules.
