What is wrong with cruel stepdads?!!

I mean my stepdad is one of the rudest people you’ll ever see. He insults me alot. But what happened today tops them all. He kicked me out of the car and insulted me and all i could say was “don’t talk to me like that” I was trying to be respectful he wanted to get out of the car and beat me up but he couldnt because mom was in the car and she did’nt defend me. She said “stop it” to me I respected mom and got out of the car. My sister defended me after that and my stepdad yelled back at her. She shuts the car door and followed me. He is supposed to ba a good “father” to us. I don’t know why he does this to us we’re supposed to be in a vacation and have the time of our lives. But guess what life is’nt always bunnys and butterflies
