Some good thoughts here, Jack. I enjoy hearing from others, getting their take on this — tends to expand the way I view them. Had to laugh at one line, here, it’s so different from the way I’ve viewed it:

I have experienced that, too. I suspect “lower mind” is mostly a shorthand way of talking about the experience of living with higher mind shackled by culture and habit.

When taking the 3D perspective, that’s just how it looks. From my perspective, it’s seen as lower or 3D mind being shackled by The Matrix overlay or programming. Either way, the effect is to hem us in — if we allow it.
