Daily life. #1
Sept 8, 2018
A cool evening breeze caresses my back. The night is young, very young. On the western horizon I can see dark navy blue clouds spread out to the edges. Just below them a faint crimson of the sinking sun can be seen. It’s fading away very quickly. On top of the clouds the last remaining blue puts up a valiant fight against the invading black. The black is young and new born and it will take another couple of hours to attain its purest form. Midnight black.
A planet shines brightly in the western sky. It’s Jupiter, an app in my mobile says. It is shining brightly and is enjoying its time. The moon is yet to rise. Or maybe not. It’s a new moon. It is taking a break of its own. To be rejuvenated before its fortnightly spell begins.
Another day comes to an end. The night is still young and for the taking for those who live in it. In this quaint little town that I work, I’ll be going back after my work finishes, take a good bath, have dinner and read a book. Maybe I’ll talk to my friends. Maybe I’ll chat with them. And as my eyes get groggy, I’ll hit my bed. This saturday is done for me.
Everyday writings of the world around me and how I percieve them and pen them down.
