“Medical decisions have always been based on personal choice made in consultation with a trusted doctor.” Not hardly. Should the decision whether or not to have the polio vaccine have been left up to the parents? Absolutely not, because the lives of countless other people were also at risk. No parent has the right to risk the lives of their own children, much less any one else’s, from diseases that are known to be highly contagious and dangerous. Until those parents live in absolute isolation with their children, this decision should not be left up to them. You have your opinion, this is mine.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
