In fact we do have studies that look at different ethnicities and their potential for success in tech and leadership. Asians in particular are routinely stereotyped as folks who “follow the company line”, “keep their head down and do their work” and “are not assertive enough to be leaders”. And society for the most part agrees with all of this. No incendiary social media response, no Asian employees taking mental health days in response, nothing.

In the case of Asians, the cultural argument is predominantly made over biological differences, but they are in fact still a topic of discussion (yes, an actual discussion). Thoughts?
