Surprise Update — March 23, 2022
It’s surprise release time!
Hopefully everyone had the chance to listen to the amazing presentation by Frisky Fox and Dreamer at the Barcelona summit earlier today. They dropped a ton of alpha and introduced a great number of new partners and collaborators. One particularly exciting announcement was that we would be integrating the fiat on-ramp Ramp into our realms. But instead of making you wait a whole extra week, we thought it’d be great to just go ahead and release it right away!
You can now purchase ONE directly from the Docks in Serendale using credit, debit, or bank account. And new users will have the option to purchase ONE directly from the profile creation screen. So if you run out of gas on the side of the web3 highway, no need to beg for mercy in the #general channel. Just follow the easy-to-use process in the integrated Ramp widget and get your gas tokens without the hassle.
A small note: depending on your bank, first time transfers could take up to 24 hours to complete but the tokens will arrive. Ramp provides a convenient receipt once the transaction completes. And subsequent transfers should only take minutes!
