After reading your article I also find that the ruthless mindset might be the key to make this process easier, the “is this absolutely necessary?” question is what I need to apply more in my life.
I’m building a chatbot where I define my three main career goals, then for every new task I add I have to rate it from 1 to 10 based in how important the task is for each goal. In the and I have a list prioritized by my main career goals, and then I just need to complete the tasks in that order.
