Soap Box Time

Have we truly become a society so lazy that we will not put forth the effort to think for ourselves?To have a thought that doesn’t fit in with others in our circle or group, to research past a post or a website? Have we become so lost in the addiction of instant gratification that we have forgotten the lessons we have already been taught? In a world filled with contortions of the truth, mass marketing plans, racial bias in every direction, and fractured idealisms, would one not feel it necessary to look for the truth? It is amazing to me that such intelligent people are so easily swayed by a simple Facebook post or a website. When people make posts or we visit websites isn’t it our duty as conscious awakened individuals to research its validity to go past the first layer of visual and search out the facts? Isn’t this one of the very things we caution others not to do yet if we trust the person posting it it has to be true. And when should it ever be a socially unacceptable situation to question or point out a difference of perspective? Are one sided perspectives what has led to a majority of the worlds issues today or is it that even in our own “social circles” we have lost the ability and acceptance to think individually? 1/2 truth education, misguidance, and lack of diligence on our part has already led so many to become followers not leaders. “They” whoever they maybe, are not controlling situations of hate, discontent ect. They are CREATING them one social media post at a time and watching as those of us who claim consciousness, snatch it up and pass out the poison, hate, racial bias, scams ect. Falling once again for history repeating itself!
