I have always believed there was a God, but I never totally accepted Him and committed my life to the Lord.

The first week of December 2015, I accepted Jesus into my life, with the help of someone very special to me. It was such an enlightening and emotional moment for me. I was in my bedroom on the phone and we were talking about God and I asked Him if he would help me accept Jesus into my life when I would be visiting in a few days. He said “if you are ready now, why wait?” He prayed with me and had me repeat His words.

I have learned to rely on God to provide for me every day and to help me through my troubling times. It is not enough to ask for God’s help when it is needed, I have to have the Lord in my heart every day so that I can learn to rely on Him always, not just when He is needed or called upon. It is important to Praise God for everything in my life and know that He has a plan, a purpose for me.

And now I am reading and discussing the Daily Devotional every day, Praying in the morning and at night and sometimes in between and I am also looking forward to Church every Sunday.

Thank You God, for all of the blessings in my life today. And thank you God for all of the blessings that will come into my life tomorrow. I praise you Lord! I hand all of my worries over to you Lord. I have faith in you Lord, that you will guide me in the direction you have planned out for me. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen
