Today i attended a service for a dear friend who passed away on December 20th 2015. It was a beautiful service, but it was different for me. I remember attending funerals in the past where I was mourning the loss of a friend or loved one, but today I celebrated her life and her being with God.

I shed a few tears for her loved ones who were grieving, but today I was not sad, but happy that she, with her faith and love for God, was now with Him.

I will miss her dearly, but I hold close to my heart, all of the wonderful memories that I will always cherish.

I guess in saying this, I am at peace with God, and maybe I am growing with God in my faith.
