How to Get a Life When You Hate Your Job
Emerson Dameron

I’m 33 and have constantly felt my good years have passed. I see Forbes 30 under 30 and feel envious. I’ve regressed in my career and others are crushing it.

I use this to my advantage and create a sense of urgency. Instead of partying on Friday nights, I’m honing in on my craft and learning new skills.

I don’t care for being the next Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg. I think people have a call warped perception of what they want. They don’t want to be the next Musk or Zuck. They just want a job they like. I just want a job I like.

Great piece, Emerson. Thank you very much for sharing this and hope the best for you.
