I like the “Blind Spot” metaphor as the missing piece to technology development very much.
For me, a major blind spot is remote computing. We have so many options available, but there is always something missing. LogMeIn and Chrome Remote Desktop are easy to use, but the screen resolutions do not match the viewing device. Windows’ built-in remote desktop protocol doesn’t have that problem, but it is hard for novices to configure. Parallels Remote Desktop works well on iPads, but otherwise seems clunky. This kind of development strikes me as key for the “personal cloud,” so let’s get cracking!
