I never mentioned anything about hierarchy.

The ideal nonmonogomous relationships are equal and certainly not ranked.

You do not differentiate kinds of non-monogamy in your original posting (whereas you now speak of an ideal one, meaning there are non-ideal/unethical ones), and that non-monogamous relationships can be done unethically as well.

You build up an opposition between ‘monogamy’ and ‘non-monogamy’ without explaining what kind of non-monogamy you mean, how the design would look like. That opposition without explanation brings to unnecessary demonizing of monogamy and idealizing non-monogamy, without reserve for all the ways monogamy could be done ethically and all the ways non-monogamy could be done unethically.
