Create a Quick AR Face Tracking Experience with these 4 Easy Steps

With just four steps, you can create a stunning AR experience that tracks the user’s face in real-time just like a Snapchat filter, but this time with your preferred 3D facial object.
In this blog post, we will guide you through the four easy steps to create face tracking on SwiftXR.
Step 1: Sign in and Create a New Project
First, head over to SwiftXR and sign in. Once you’re signed in, click on “Create a new project”.
Step 2: Add the Image Tracking Component
To use the face tracking component, click on “Component” and drag and drop the image tracking component onto Canva.
Replace the 3D model by going to the general settings and adding in your custom 3D models.
Alternatively, you can click on “Store” and add a 3D model from Sketchfab.
Step 3: Adjust the Model on the Face for Face Tracking
Once you select your item, you can make changes to how it fits the user. Click on “Face tracking” and adjust the model on the face.
This should load the face tracking editor. Adjust the size and use the different options to view what it looks like from different angles.
You can also adjust the position of the 3D models.
Step 4: Publish Project and View on your Face
Once you’re satisfied with your face-tracking project, click on “Done”. Before publishing, you can preview how the project looks.
When you’re ready to Share your project, click on “Publish”. You can also share your face-tracking project with anyone over the web for them to view.
