How to Use Image Tracking to Create Stunning Augmented Reality Experiences
Are you looking to take your 3D models to the next level with augmented reality? Our new image tracking feature makes it easier than before! You can now place your 3D models directly into real-world images, providing an immersive and engaging experience for your viewers.
In this step-by-step tutorial, we’ll show you how to get started with SwiftXR Image Tracking. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Create a New Project
The first step is to create a new project in swiftxr.io. Once you’ve done that, navigate to the Components section and select the 3D Model option.
Then, drag the Image Tracking component onto your canvas.
Step 2: Add Your Tracking Image
To use the Image Tracking feature, you need to add a tracking image. Click on the Properties tab and select “Add Images.”
Once you’ve added your image, select the 3D model you want to showcase on the image itself.
Step 3: Adjust Your 3D Model
Next, go to the General Settings tab and change the current 3D model to the one you want to use. Once your 3D model is showing on your image, click on the Image Tracking tab.
Here, you can adjust the size, rotation, and position of your model on the image. Once you’re happy with the placement, click “Done.” You can also view in different angles using the icons at the top right hand side.
Step 4: Preview and Publish
Before publishing, you can preview your project to see how it will look. Click on the Preview button and select either Desktop Mode or Mobile Mode.
Then, click on the Image Tracking icon to view your model in augmented reality. If you’re satisfied with the result, click “Publish.”
Step 5: Share Your Project
After publishing, you can share your project on social media or view it anytime using the “Open Link” or “QR Code Scan” options.
With SwiftXR’s Image Tracking feature, creating stunning augmented reality models has never been easier. Give it a try and see what you can create!
