How we taught dozens of refugees to code, then helped them get developer jobs
Gijs Corstens

I live in Chicago where we have an incredible network of tech meet ups, hubs, accelerators, dev bootcamps and classes. Yet, only a few can comfortably take advantage of these programs. Most of aren’t anywhere near people who need it the most. Thanks for the materials as well. A few questions if you get the chance: How did you get your volunteer teachers to commit? I would love to understand the onboarding process for teachers. Did you face any logistical challenges? Did the teachers go to the students first? Thanks for the extra resources too.
