What I wanted to make room for was the introduction of basic regression so the students could estimate some simple demand curves and some (very) simple cost functions. That went over very well. I think the introduction of data here was a better use of class time than what they got from Edgeworth. I have mixed feelings about dropping PPF for the same reasons you probably decided to keep it in this year.
